Did I mention how I love working late before a holiday weekend? No? Oops.

I gather I am suffering karmic repercussions for something or the other I have done, so I figured that I should post this song as an open letter to the Universe.

And "Megalithic Symphony" is one of my five favorite albums thus far in 2011. I highly (as in Tramadol high) recommend it.

I have kept "Fantastic Planet" in high (no pun intended) rotation the past week or so. I am a sucker for good concept albums, and this 1996 gem definitely fits the bill. 

As much as I love the cover by A Perfect Circle, I think the original is better both as a standalone song and within the framework of the album as a whole.
