"Cautious Man" - Butch Ryan Band
Most people outside of the Tampa area probably have not heard Butch Ryan Band (or other incarnations of "Butch" such as Ryan's Rebels, Groovy Cool or just Butch Ryan). He is a fabulous performer, and this is one of my favorites. Dark, meaningful and totally sing-able (even for talentless hacks like me).
I love the dig he takes at Bright Eyes on the opening track ("Got It Bad") of the album (Time to Wait) on which this song appears.
